I am a new MAC user and am very happy so far. There is a contact management progam for Windows called Act that used to have a mac version. I have used this for over 15 years in a windows version and I have a ton of data in it. Is there a mac version or something similar that i can use that will allow me to import all of my contacts along with the information pertaining to those contacts?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Mac is an abbreviation for Macintosh. It is not an acronym. Therefore please don't spell it MAC.

You can organize your contacts in "Address Book". If that's not what you're looking for you could search Versiontracker and MacUpdate for software.
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Act! for the Mac is long gone, and probably not ever coming back. Check out Daylight Business Edition .

I have no experience with it, but it sounds like it does what you need.

Also, MAC stands for Media Access Control... it's a networking term.

Mac stands for Macintosh... sorry, this is a sour spot for Mac users.

Daylite is what you need. They have an ACT import feature.

I have found it to be easy to use. They are getting ready to come out with a new version but the current one works well.

Get the Business version.
