You could always copy paste new icons on ALL the icons on your system. That's free.

Candybar is a great app and supporting IconFactory and Panic is a good thing. They are a great companies that make great products. Let'em know you appreciate it!

$12.95 is pricey? I just went to lunch and found $4.85 in change just sitting in my truck's console, not to mention the change I have at home. With that alone, I could almost reach the paltry $12.95 -- and that's all without even cracking open my wallet to get out a credit card.

Great mac companies only continue to make great Mac products if the great Mac consumers buy the products being produced.

I agree, this year alone I've registered Proteus, Launchbar, and Chercher... it's just that buying a g5 has left me a little, how do you say... in debt ?

Yeah, I've been using CandyBar since 1.0 and it was one of the first shareware apps I've ever purchased. The guys at Panic and IconFactory are ASSETS to the Mac community.

I also own Transmit (the finest FTP client).

What candybar does is not kiddie stuff. It's not easy to write an app with such an intuitive interface. CandyBar backs up your original icons for you in case you ever needed to revert. It's a very responsible, well-thought-out piece of code.. and yummy.
