I am convinced that icons in my iBook dock are a little fuzzy on Panther. Am I smoking crack?

You could be on the pipe, but I wouldn't know because I don't have Panther yet. And I don't have an ibook. I hope my dock looks sharp as a knife on my PB. I will find out tomorrow.

And you're sure that the icon size is 32, 48, 64 or 128 pixels? Anything else will look fuzzy.

1) how would I know in the dock
2) they weren't fuzzy before
3) the whole point of OS X's graphic engine is to scale sharply to any size

I have no idea what you're smoking (and shame on you for not sharing!) but try holding OPTION and resizing the Dock from the separator. It'll give you non-aliased sizes of 32, 64, etc...See if they're still fuzzy.

Hold Option as you resize your Dock. It will resize to optimized icon sizes that'll look their best. IIRC, a proper OS X icon includes a few different sizes in it (128x128, 64x64, yadda yadda ya) and the OS does its best at creating the sizes inbetween.
