Display artifacts/ghosting? (7b85)

Anyone else seeing this? Happens every once and a bit...but if I highlight the image, the artifacts go away.

Yep, I think it's common. I get it too, and others have posted similar screenshots. Looks like something Apple needs to work out.

Yes I remember I reported this bug. Unfortunately I cannot remember what the solution was. I'm not having this problem with 7B85 though.

It's a known issue on certain configurations and there isn't a "solution". It will have to be fixed.

I seem to remember that it was a combination of things relating to color depth and Appearance Font Smoothing Style. I can create artifacts when I go to thousands of colors and using Standard - Best for CRT font smoothing style.

Hmm, throw that theory out the window then. But at least, that is how I can produce the effect.
