Is FF wheel support still in Panther?

Is force feedback support still available in Panther - I've been reading that it's gone and that's why Apple has removed their wheel listing in the peripherals section...

Panther contains a LogitechForceFeedback.kext. I don't have a wheel to test if that's what it's for.

And that's from a fresh install right (ie. not just an upgrade with this left over from Jaguar)?
