Howdy
Nutshell: I have an iMac here that is an old Rev.B Bondi. Surprisingly Panther runs really well on it. But that isn't the point of this post.
You see, I just recently bought a Microsoft Natural Keyboard Elite for it. It's a PS/2 keyboard that comes with a USB converter. After installing the drivers back in Jaguar, life was good. The machine booted just fine, and the keyboard behaved as any well trained keyboard would.
However, after battling with Panther through the installer, I now have to face the issue of Open Firmware appearing at boot time saying how a device wasn't detected. I'm going to venture a guess and say that the keyboard in question is the same device that cannot be found.
What's going on? Should I wait for MS to release a new set of drivers? Is there something resembling USB Overdrive that I can use here? Is there anything I can do in the interim?
Thanks!
