None of the four Panther install disks will mount on my Dual 867 G4. It's as if there is no disk in the tray. It doesn't even spin up. This is very discouraging. Anyone else having this same issue? Thoughts on what could be causing this?
The chances that you have FOUR bad discs are fantastically slim. Try the discs on another computer, and test other discs on your Mac. My hunch is that none of them will mount.

You may also just need a restart.

Turns out I have a flakey cd drive. I took it in to have it looked at. The strange thing is, it has become very selective on what cds it will mount. There was nothing wrong with the Panther Install disks. :|
