Panther and Acard/Siig PCI IDE RAID cards - problem

Does anybody have an Acard or Siig PCI IDE Raid card? Panther doesn't seem to recognize my hard drive when it is attached to the card. I have two hard drives: one attached normally, and one attached to the RAID card. I installed Panther on the former hard drive, and when I restarted it could not find the RAID card drive.
