This may be where the confusion comes from...

Panther server is actually version 7b86, running on top of Panther 7b85. See below.

I take it you are running OSXS? If so, how is the Panther version?

Well I have not run server since 10.1 (which wasn't a pleasing experience). 10.3 Server seems to be nice and solid so far, but I am only 12 hours in (and most of those hours were sleeping hours)

What are the main reasons to upgrade?

mitchell_pgh> good to see a local (I am in DC as well).

Main reason to upgrade is my G5 1.8 couldn't run any other version of Panther

Well, this is one for sure (depending on how good it's really implemented):

"Escape client access license fees. Samba 3, built into Mac OS X Server and integrated with Open Directory, provides native services for Windows clients. Windows users can authenticate to Mac OS X Server directly from their PC login window. Mac OS X Server can be a Primary Domain Controller (PDC), host Windows home directories and Windows “roaming profiles.” Upgrade your Window’s servers to Mac OS X Server and Samba 3, the latest version of the popular open source project that delivers high-performance, reliable file and print services to Windows clients."

Do the graphs work under "Web" in server status? They simply do not work for me under 10.2.8 server
