keyboard&mouse not working in mail and safari!

My keyboard doesn't work in mail or safari at all!!! And my mouse is about 300 pixels off!!!

Bizarre!

It only does this on my account on my machine not my wifes account!

Any ideas how to fix this?

Others have see problems due to other programs they are running; copypaste and synergy are two of them. If you have have any programs that run at login disable them and see if that helps.

Have managed to get safari working but still no keyboard in mail
