Of course, placed my order for Panther a few minutes after it became available. It was shipped Oct. 22, with two day delivery. Delivery was supposed to be before 4:30 p.m., and guess what, it didn't even leave Georgia until 3:30 p.m. the day it was to be delivered. I live in Minnesota. Thats at least a 3 hour flight.
Sure enough, it didn't arrive. Then I track the shipment, and it says it finally left the facility for delivery to my house this morning at 6:30 a.m. Guess what? It's now 8:00 p.m., and no Panther. Somehow the stupid Fed Ex truck didn't make it.
I'm leaving town now, and won't be back for a week. I took a 1/2 day off work on Friday, and am pretty @#$%@# off now.
Thanks Fed Ex. *SARCASTIC*

I don't do OS updates thru Apple Store mail order anymore. It's less stress to visit a brick-and-mortar Apple Store or retailer to get your copy.

sucks to be you i guess....heheheh.
when you think of all the copies of panther apple sent out in the last couple days, plus all the other packages fedex has daily...well, there are bound to be a few that slip through the cracks and don't make it on time.
hang in there - it's worth waiting just a bit longer for!

I had gotten one of the infamous "your order has been delayed until the 29th" messages on Friday. Well, I just received an update and it's going to be delivered Monday before 10:30am. We'll see if it does really make it.

Got the same message, but also found they only charged my Amex card for shipping, not shipping plus 19.95...hmmm...

Why sit there and take it like a schlub? Call Fedex and ask what's going on with the package. Sometimes it's as simple as a new driver who can't find your address ...

Great, now FedEx drivers are incompatable with OSX 10.3... I'm tired of OSX/Driver compatability issues.
Sorry... just HAD to.
