except for safari being weird and not working at all. i've tried so many things and with no luck what so ever. i had the saft plugin installed and i removed that, then i did a disk repair and disk verify. still no working safari. so i deleted everything safari from my computer and tried downloading it again and each time i do when i go through the install it says i cannot install the software because it doesn't work on this system.

and worst of all i love safari and i wish i could have it back.

that is not normal. Today I installed x10.3 on 3 systems: Powerbook G3 (pismo), iMac DV 400, and a iMac 17" flat panel.

On all but the 17" I did an erase and install, on that one I did archive and install, and Safari works FINE on all three.

You've got a botched install, or your prefs are hosed

Try deleting the safari folder in your Library.

If that does not work, back up and du it rite, i.e erase and install.
