Installed my copy of 10.3 Friday night. The only bug I can find is SETI won't run in Screen Saver mode (yes, the resident savers are turned off). It does run in application mode however.

You should be running it in CLI mode, anyway. 10-20% faster. There's a little app called SETI Dockling that'll start/stop and keep tabs on it for you, once you've downloaded the CLI client.

How do you run SETI at home on CLI?

I just got my G5 (10.2.8 was installed) and so I loaded up SETI and got a unit completed 3 hrs 20 mins, and that was with 512mb of RAM.

So after finally installing Panther on Saturday, 1 unit took 4 hrs and 20 mins *AND* that was with 2.5gb of RAM!

Anyway I'd like to run it in CLI if it is faster.

Well, much as I may be interested in the CLI version, I want my S@H screensaver -- my motives here are not entirely altruistic.

Does anybody know of a fix yet?

99 how are you turning off the resident ssavers? By using the "never" setting?

thanks
