Hi folks,

I have just installed Panther on a G3 Powerbook - sadly I only have 6GB and I am trying to delete things that I don't need to give me more space. There is a folder on the HD called System Folder with a '9' on the actual folder - can I delete that? There is another folder called Applications (Mac OS9) - can I delete that?

Any other suggestions?

Those are for classic (and OS 9). Don't delete them if you actually want to use Classic at some point...

Look into "delocalizer". It removes all the non-english languages from OSX and can save you up to 500MB. I don't know if it needs to be updated for Panther, though.
