Has anyone with an 3200 scanner installed Jaguar? If so does it work ok? I was told that my 7600 printer would work ok even though there isn't a 10.3 driver yet, but the Epson scanner tech didn't know whether the 3200 would work.
I don't want to purchase 10.3 until I know all my peripherals are going to work.
Your comments would be most appreciated.

It works flawlessly after I installed the latest drivers from their site. Fantastic scanner, btw.
Technicalities: I'm using the Epson Scan plugin through Photoshop. The scanner is connected through firewire.

I'm sorry to report that I did ran into problems using the Epson 3200 scanner by installing Panther. I couldn't fix it by having the latest driver from the Epson site. Currently, the scanner still does not work. So, be careful and keep your expectations low. Good luck.
Cheers

Anyone else have feedback on this? I can't risk not having my scanner on my work dual G5.

here is a fix i found on the apple boards:
Found a fix!!! Take Image Capture located in /Library and put it in the trash. Then simply re-install the latest Epson Scan Installer. It does not work to re-install without first trashing Image Capture
anyone have any luck with this?

Noting the fix in the apple discussion lists:
FOLLOWUP* Fixed by removing the "EPSON Scanner" plugin in the ~Library/Image Capture/Devices folder.
I fixed our 1680 firewire scanner this way. I thought we were hosed (I work at a graphic design firm and this is our main scanner), but that fix worked well.
At first I was not able to remove the file, said it was in use, so I ran the activity monitor and killed all the processes related to epson and image capture.
It sounds like people are having good luck with this fix. Who needs image capture when you have PS7 & Epson/Silverfast?
