After instAlling PANTHER, I cAn't type A lowercAse A (hence this weird looking messAge).

Any clues? I didn't insAll All the locAlized files.

Also, when I type the lowercAse A on the logon screen, it recognizes the input.

Are you running Synergy?

If so, turn it off. That should fix it.

(Apparently there is an update to Synergy now which squashes this bug.)
