I want to reformat the drive and I still need Classic on a Dual 1.42.

What is the best method of doing a clean install of Classic (9.2.2) and Panther on a non OS 9 booting Mac?

Sadly I need to use Classic, so with older Macs I would boot off an OS 9 CD, format the drive, install OS 9.2.2, then boot off an OS X CD and install X.

Now I want to do the same thing on the latest Power Mac G4 dual 1.42.
Can I boot off the Panther CD, reformat the drive, install Panther and then install OS 9. Is this possible? What's the best way of doing this?? Thank you!!
