My setup is thus:

PowerMac G4 Sawtooth w/ Sonnet 800 MHz chip
640 MB RAM
Sonnet Tempo Trio PCI card
Maxtor 120 GB HD attached to Sonnet Card

Basically, in 10.2.8 and 10.3 whenever I put my computer to deep sleep it would wake up and freeze. I called Maxtor and they told me it was because their hard drives take a few seconds extra to spin up or down. I called Apple and they said they couldn't help me and that I had to turn to the discussion groups. Does anyone know of a way of modifying the Power Management options to give this hard drive more time to spin up?

Thanks.
