can i delete: .DS_Store and .FBDindex files?

hello

.DS_Store and .FBDindex files take up about 10 megs in my documents folder. just wondering--can i delete them?

.DS_Store files store information about the window's layout and view settings. .FBDindex (I believe) aid in the search process. You can delete them, but they'll be recreated.

These files are invisible, so you shouldn't be seeing them unless you turned on visibility for the invisible files. Regardless, why do you care if they take up 10 MB?
