Under Mac OS X Panther 10.3 my two internal ultra SCSI drives are seen as removable media. Under 10.1 and 10.2 SCSI drives behaved normally. In the Finder Preferences I choose NOT to show Hard Drives on my desktop, but choose to show removable media and servers. Now under Panther even with show hard drives unchecked in the Finder Prefs my internal SCSI drives show unless I uncheck the removable media option. This even occurs on my Blue and white G3 that has an Apple OEM installed SCSI drive.

Does Apple beta test this stuff, sometimes I wonder.
