I partitioned the hard drive in a machine running Jaguar Server into three. The first partition holds the OS and the local user admin's home folder. The middle partition is called "Users" and holds the other users' (those created with Workgroup Manager) home folders. The third is for Mac OS X.

This middle partition doesn't show up on the Finder's desktop when I am logged in as admin, while the others do. When I log in as one of the other users, automounting takes care of letting me access the middle partition to get to my home folder.

Why can't I make this middle partition visible?

In fact, when I log in as one of the users from Workgroup Manager, and command click on the title bar of a window showing the user's home folder, it shows the following hierarchy:

userid
Users <- greyed
computername

Why would "Users" be greyed?
