So, I had my first kernel panic with Panther today. (when taking out a PCMCIA Wireless card from the Powerbook)

When that happened with jaguar, I used to restart in single user mode and do the fsck routine.

Now, Panther tells me there is no need to do this because the disk is journaled.

Does this mean that there is nothing to do after a kernel panic except restart?

Thanks.

Yep. That's the point of journalling -- it prevents the problems that fsck is supposed to fix.
