Which version of Linux for PPC is better and why, Yellow Dog or Mandrake?

Haven't used Mandrake, but I love YDL. It's based off of Red Hat and does an excellent job making Linux easy to use while still retaining all those features that make it Linux.

Mandrake is a "big name" while YD is PPC only, so they know what they are doing. Install is no problem on even current Macs. Between the two you will have an easier time installing/using YD.

Yellow Dog is Red Hat based, making it also a "big name" distro. The only real difference between Red Hat and Yellow Dog is the Yellow Dog has been ported and optimized for the PPC architechture.
