When I installed Jaguar I partioned my drive into X.2, X.3, Applications, and User.

Panther is here so I finally got to use the X.3 volume -

I used this trick http://www.macworld.com/2002/06/secrets/osxsecrets/ with Jaguar to move my user folder to the User volume. Can I use the same method to point Panther to that location?

I still need to boot into Jaguar until Panther plays nice with all my apps. Will the cats be able to get along and share my user folder, or is that a recipie for disaster?

Thanks!
-Andrew
