In Windows XP, FUS wouldn't necessarily make the system unstable, but it would cause some strange "glitchiness".. UI oddities, some programs wouldn't launch, etc..

Since I have had quite a bit of instability on my Mac since I installed Panther, I am hesitant to use FUS. Have any of you noticed any instability that occurs when you've left a few users logged in for an extended period of time? Have you let the computer go to sleep with users still logged in?

thanks for any input

I always run continously with all users logged in, sleeping or not.

I had problems with Kernel Panics in earlier versions, but I have been using it extensively for a while with no problems. iTunes apparently can't work in two user's accounts at once, but that is a small thing.

Fast user switching is working great for me, I usually leave about 4 apps going at once.

As absmiths says iTunes is the only program I've heard of with any problems.

no glitches here and I run 9 or 10 apps at once as does my wife...

The only program that won't launch is itunes, but I let my wife use itunes and I stick with audion.
