I searched for threads on kernel_task, but they we're concerned only with CPU hogging.

Is kernel_task just doing it's business, reserving a lot of virtual memory on my machine?

At 1% CPU use, with 33 threads running, its using 53 MB of real and 670 MB of virtual memory on an 768 MB RAM iMac.

How's yours?

J
