Its a little late, coming after the 10.2.8 update, but the reason 10.2.8 was so buggy was because all the adc members were busy testing 10.3 (myself I never touched 10.2.8). Apple should open minor updates to web members of ADC. They already have downgraders, and I'm sure it would give them many more testers (who aren't busy testing out the major releases).

Maybe someone raised this before... But I think its a good idea. Keeping it still in ADC (or perhaps opening up Apple Seed a bit more) would make it so that Apple doesn't have to directly support the system, and keep it on the beta bug trackers.

You know it's a good idea when you don't get anyone bitching...

And who wants to beta test a minor upgrade? I sure as hell wouldn't install a beta upgrade... Would you? If you did and it whiped out your entire HDD, would you bitch about it?

This is not a good idea. They should just test better in house and with dedicated beta testers. The last thing they need is people whining all over the internet about beta updates. They should instead focus on preventing people from whining about non-beta updates.
