Is anyone using either of these FW400 drives with Panther, and if so have there been any problems? I though it was a general FireWire problem with Panther but now it seems it's only FW800 that's affected? Ideally I want to install Panther on one of my external drives and run it from there just to check I have no problems before installing it on the internal drive.

 iMac Core 2 Duo 17" 2ghz 3gb/250gb ||  iBook G4 12" 1.33ghz 1gb/40gb

I use a Smartdisk FW drive and the drive works fine, but now I'm asked for my password when I want to unmount it.
