I used them a lot in Panther mainly the PS->PDF and whatever_format->JPEG actions, but as I remember in OS 9, the folder had a little AppleScript icon attached to the folder so you knew that it had folder action enabled. Am I missing something here or is it like that by default?

Anyways, it is not that hard to make a unique icon myself.. TIA

Mac OS X does not currently support folder badging in the Finder so you'll have to add your own custom icon to identify attached folders.

There used to be an Icon available for download from the AppleScript Site - However I couldn't find it when I looked recently.

Sal,

Love the way AppleScript is looking in Panther, much easier to attach and configure Folder Actions. I'm no AppleScript writer myself, wish I could, but use enough from others that make me really like the whole AppleScript thing. Would be very nice though if folder badging made a comeback. You know, it's the details us Mac users like.
