I was thinking of getting an (.mac) membership.

I thought since I only have a 10GB hd, having 100GB of idisk, would allow me to put all my music and have it available to me at all time without plugging in my ipod.

Anyone have their music library on their idisk?

It sounds like .mac is great for people that want to easily backup their computer.

My question is, like everyone I have files I don't want others to see.

How safe is .mac from someone hacking into the site and getting my personally files?

Did you mean 100MB of iDisk storage?
The maximum iDisk storage you can upgrade is 1000MB which costs around 350.00 USD per year.

Not to mention iDisk is slower than your local hard drive.
