Hello,

I'm trying to move some of my files on Windows across to my PB running Panther. One fo the files is 222MB in size and I can't seem to be able to copy it across.

I've connected to a shared folder on my PC via the "Connect to server" in Finder. When copying smaller size file, all is okay but when I try to copy this 224MB file, nothing happens. No error message but also no copy. I've tried both selecting and dragging and also copy from the edit menu. Both method results in nothing. I'm trying to drag it onto my desktop. I see an icon appear to represent the file and then it disappears.

Is there some limit to the size of the file one can transfer using this method?

I did a further test and created a zip file of 233MB and this file transferred okay. So I guess there are no particular limits to network file transfers in Panther. Maybe the file is corrupted. I'm still baffled about why this file didn't transfer and why Panther did no report anything (no error messages, etc). May
