i normally use mozilla for browsing the web. today i used safari for the first time. i typed in "b" and it completed the url. it was superbad.com. theres more than one year ago that i was on superbad.com. i tried other letters and it completed much more urls i visited in the last month.
the problem is: i never used safari and my powerbook is only one month old. the os, too. i just imported my mozilla profile.
i think that if safari really collects all the websites i visited with an other browser it was a big security flaw. this really sounds like microsoft.
it uses your bookmarks and history. most likely it imported another browser's files. clearing your history or erasing that particular bookmark will put a stop to it.
The first time you run Safari, it imports a number of items from other browsers, such as bookmarks. It's possible Safari imported Mozilla's history, too.
