Anyone notice that TextEdit in Panther can save as either Rich Text Format or in Word format? Interesting...

This was pretty widely advertised.
The more important question is whether anyone noticed that the old shortcuts for bold, ital, and underline (pretzel+B, i, and u) are GONE now?
Cheers

Widely advertised yet I didn't see it and I frequent these places a lot. Kooky. Appreciate the sarcasm...

That wasn't sarcasm. I was simply saying that this was an advertized feature. Jobs talked about this in his Keynote, iirc, and then it's right there on the Pantharrr overview page under "Get Organized":
"Import basic Microsoft Word .DOC documents into TextEdit."
Sorry if that came out wrong.
Cheers

Um, no they're not - my copy of TextEdit in Panther most certainly has command-B, command-I, and command-U to do these three functions.

Ok. That's BIZARRE. I must've been working in plain text mode and not known it.
I am happily proven wrong!
