Hey everyone.

Does anyone out there have a Sonnet Tempo ATA 133 PCI card installed with a hard drive connected to it and using panther? If so, do you see the drive? Updated my girlfriend's G4 533 (Digital Audio) last night noticed one of her drives were missing after the first boot into panther. Disk Utility does not see it. Booted off a diskwarrior os9 disk and that see's it. Worked without issue in 10.2

Went on the sonnet site and no mention of 10.3. Updated the firmware but again, no joy.

Going to roll her back (she's a big girl) to 10.2 if no solution found.

Thanks

Well,
For what it's worth, I have the following cards and they work fine in Panther:

- Sonnet Tempo 100
- Sonnet RAID133

In addition to that, when I bought Panther at Micro Center, they had a small display next to their Sonnet cards that said they were all Panther-ready. Is your card's Firmware up-to-date?

See ya,
BD

Finally got the issue resolved thanks to the people at Sonnet. It would seem that panther didn't like the fact that the jumper settings on the drive were not set to "master".... neither os9 or 10.2 minded this before.

anyway, all sorted. i'm happy.
