I'm working on a presentation in keynote and it seems the dictionary is in some other roman language. Standard words are not found or it will give me options to change them to ones ending in "o" like prognosis --> prognostico.

Have I somehow screwed up the auto spell-check?

In the meantime I've simply turned off spell check.

So why don't you change the dictionary then?

Edit->Spelling->Spelling…->Dictionary->
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

Doh. That works. I was looking in the sys prefs, etc.

It was in Brazilian Portugese.
