Where do i get it back from. I am having trouble connecting to my win2k machine in panther and I am attempting to figure out how to get it working again, but I'm still having trouble.

Anyway i was in the finder and i took the network icon and threw it away, now its not there and im not sure how to get it back

Go into Finder. Open Preferences. Look at the sidebar tab.

Should be able to put it back from here.

In the Finder go to the menu "Finder" and select "Preferences".

In the Preferences window select Sidebar and check Network.

Now should the Network Icon reappear in the sidebar.

Or
Go to computer (in the Finder "Go" menu). This will open a Finder window with all mounted volumes and Network.
