Does anyone else have this with Panther. This does not happen every time, but often enough to be annoying.

When I log out back to the LoginWindow, and choose shutdown, the Login window disappears as normal,, the screen background fades out as normal, and then they pop back again. Choosing shutdown a second time always shuts the machine down then..


In the log there is some mutterings about the ATSServer crashing, and I am not sure if thats the problem.

I did an archive and install. I'm wondering if i have a corrupt font hanging about as this only seemed to kick in when i brought my fonts into FontBook, rather than Suitcase.. Suitcase went because it was so slow at startup.
