have to say i'm impressed with apple's implementation of X11 this time around.
full screen is a real treat, the way it should be.
redrawing is a little slow on my ibook 600, BUT app launch time is better, responsiveness is better, i don't know how, i don't know why, but I love it!

I just tried full screen mode, and WOW! That is cool! I wish you could minimize windows though...

have you figured out how to install kde on Panther's x11. I had this working under jag, but can't seem to be able to get it going in panther.

That's odd… one of the last things I did with X11 before Panther was install KDE (I wanted to see KOffice). After an Archive and Install all my X11 apps still work, nothing changed.

KDE, kOffice, Gimp, LinCity, OpenOffice.

haven't tried. sorta like windowmaker, gonna stick with that one....

all my x11 stuff worked after i upgraded to 10.3. but i decided to delete my /sw folder and start from scratch... took a bit of fiddling, fink wasn't acting right when i reinstalled it, but now all is well.

Fink Commander… has worked wonders for me, and I'm a CLI idjit.

Now, I haven't grabbed anything since the upgrade so if someone says FC doesn't work yet with Panther, then that won't help. Yet.
