In Jagwire, there was an option, preference, or setting that allowed one to use/set three line names for the icons on the desktop.

But in Panthwire, I can no longer find where this capability is established. Did it go away or this but another case of operator error?

It's not so much that I need it, I just wanna know, wot happened or wherez it at?

TIA

There was no such option in Jaguar.
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

This was/is a hidden preference, accessible through, for example, TinkerTool.

JF, Thanks for the solving my puzzle. I knew I had used it, but frustration reigned as I could not (re)find it.

FWIW, TinkerTool v3.0.1 limits the number of text lines to two, but my quest for resolution has now been sated.
