Ok, I'm new to the Apple world and would like to learn how to use UNIX... Is there a book out there that is visual, gives a commands lists, is intresting to read, to the point and good for newbies?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Just do a google search for Unix tutorials. You really only need to learn a few basic things at first. Online tutorials will teach you enough to get started and -- more imporantly -- where to look for more help and information.

Once you get started, then you'll probably want to pick up more specialized texts. Save your money for these; the unix book will just end up on the shelf and you'll never use it.

Finally, the easy way to learn is to have a problem that you would like to solve.
