Panther installed fine on my G5 and everything appears to be working properly. (although I'm burning c.d's that seem to work in half the players out there?), but trying to install this on my G4 Tibook has been excruciating!
First, disk 2 runs into errors out of the gate. Then I play a DVD on the Tibook, but the minute I try to plug my television in as an external monitor I get the intitialization error that I don't have enough video memory. I had plenty of video memory to run this S-video external monitor on OSX and OS9, why not Panther? Why would this have taken video memory from me???? I'm running into problems I've never encountered on any prior machine or OS, this is frustrating to say the least!
