A screen shot can only print out what's on screen.
What about finder windows that extend off screen? Possible to print those? thanks!
(shareware, "print window" is cool, but it does not print what you see on screen)

Well, I know how to achieve the same thing, but I don't know how to do what you want. If you need a list of what is in a folder, open Terminal.app and execute:
cd <directory>
ls > dir.txt
open dir.txt
And you will have a text dump of what is in the directory. BTW, if you already have a file called dir.txt in that directory, it will be overwritten.

Just drag the folder onto Print Center/Printer Setup Utility or your printer's icon (in Panther).

Very cool trick. Result were similar to "print window", maybe a little better becasue took up little less paper.
but I guesss there is no way to print a window that spill off screen the way you would see it in a screenshot. correct? thanks!

Has anyone found a way to print the window contents of a mounted server. Print window will do it but wont keep the alphabetical order if that is how you have it sorted. Same results if you drop your folder on a printer in the print center. Works great for local drives but not mounted servers.

Schweet. I had forgotten how to do this and needed to do it quickly before leaving tomorrow. The search button is my friend!
