I have jpegs archived on DVD using iView Media Pro 2.0.1 for 10.3.

Most of the time when I go to eject a disk, it sucks up CPU in the finder and I get a message that says it can't be ejected because it is in use.

I have to restart and eject while starting.
I have even tried unmounting or ejectiing it in Disk Utility and no dice.

If I open in PS or iView, it will hang up for sure even if I quit the apps. Sometimes it will do it without me doing anything but opening the disk in a window.

It just sucks up the CPU and won't go anywhere.

Sounds like a permissions problem. Have you repaired them lately?
