Why does my firewall show CVS port 2401 open?

Thanks for any help.

It's worth noting that pserver is notoriously insecure. It's MUCH better to use CVS_RSH=ssh and do your checkouts over ssh rather than running pserver.

Thanks for the replies. I have never installed pserver but noticed my firewall had the cvs port 2401 open on my fresh panther install. Could this be done by the xcode install? I am sure I did not open this port.
