Hi folks,
For some reason I am now getting three copies of the following message in the console when launching iMovie 3.0.3, QuickTime player 6.4, Acrobat Reader (5.0), AppleWorks.
The message is:
*** malloc[xxxx]: Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0xxxxx. This could be a double free() or.........
(I do not get this message for Safari, iCal, AddressBook, or Mail - so it is possibly a Carbon framework problem)
The apps appear to work normally except one - AppleWorks. This crashes on startup - after displaying 3 copies of the above console message.
I guess I'll have to consider reinstalling the OS, but thought I'd try here first.
Anyone else seen this behaviour at all?
