Burn a cd in itunes, but cd remains "mounted"

I know it's just a little gripe, but after I burn a cd in itunes it leaves the mounted cd on the desktop even after I press the eject button on my powerbook. I then have to drag the cd to "burn" it, but I press eject, then the icon disappears. Anyone else experience this?
