As Apple has made Bash 2.5b the default shell in Panther I thought I might venture in with it

Does Apple provide a 'recommended' set up like they do with tsch at

If not, is someone 'brave' enough to venture a suggestion as to a simple environment/path layout for a bash newbie!?

also: Could someone advise where to obtain the latest compatible fileutil and how to enable color within the shell?
