Just wondering if this is still useful in Panther, or are windows now compressed by default?

Over 100,000 Iraqis -dead. Over 200,000 Afganis - dead. and counting...

Windows have been compressed by default since 10.2.1 or 10.2.2, I don't remember. They are certainly compressed by default in 10.3
