I installed Panther a day ago. Just doing some maintenence and tried to run FSCK -Y but it said that that drive had been journaled and I couldn't do it.

Any ideas?

Use the -f option just as it instructs you to.

/sbin/fsck -yf

Just because it journalled does not mean that there will not be errors!

According to Apple, most errors you might get with a journaled drive can be safely ignored. As a matter of fact, Apple says that if you try fsck on a journaled drive, you're likely to get false errors.
