I searched and came up with no results. Anyways, how do I go about adding more memory to an app? OS 10.3.1.

You don't. An application takes as much memory as it needs.

Memory management is completely different in OS X. There is no need to manually set application memory, nor is it possible (except for Classic apps). If a program is telling you it's out of memory, then something's funky with the program.
